Here’s an example of what not to do in cat photography. My handler went to pet the cat as I pressed the shutter. And the cat was photobombed out of the image.

OK, enough of my mistakes. Usually I delete my errors but the above was funny. Now for some nice cat adoption images …

Betty, our black and white chihuahua was posing for a portrait in Gary’s studio. Suzie, one of the rat terriers, jumped in and photobombed her. Why? Because Betty’s attention is being directed with dog treats, which Suzie aims to steal. Photo by Gary Gromer.
