Busy night at the ponderosa pine

The ponderosa pine tree in our front yard was a busy place last night. The javelina was noisy and woke me up when it ran across the porch. The raccoons were quiet. We have not seen raccoons for in a while.

The raccoon family visited our yard very early in the morning on 11/3/2017. Our dogs didn’t bark, the coons must have been quiet.

Two raccoons appeared in my neighbors yard 10/28/2010. One of my dogs first spotted them. They stayed in a tree or on a rafter in a patio cover.
I seen have raccoons in the area on and off for years, this is the first time we had a close encounter with them.
