In Kirkland, Az we came across a field with several horses and a donkey. The donkey was very friendly and came up to the fence to greet us. Or maybe he wanted us to give him a carrot or an apple?

An almost ghost town between Mayer and Crown King, Cleator Az was a mining town. My husband’s grandfather lived in Cleator for a while many years ago.
