We have been having very dramatic sunsets in Prescott. Last night it did not seem like conditions were ripe, so we stayed home. Wrong, the sky turned red for a few minutes. I got this with my iPhone from the west side of our house.

HDR image of a sunset over Prescott, Az on a partly cloudy evening. On the horizon, about in the middle, you can see Thumb Butte which is a visual landmark here. The foreground campus is Ft Whipple, a VA hospital. The very bright lights near the horizon and the right edge of the frame is the ball fields of the Prescott High School (must be a game this night).
Taken from the parking lot at Bucky’s casino a.k.a. the Prescott Resort looking towards the west.
