Today was a yard work day around the place.  The big task was tree pruning, and here is Gary in a tree. He climbed up to reach limbs that were a problem. When it snows, those limbs bend over from the snow load and rest on our neighbor’s electric line. So today we remedied the situation. And Gary thought he was done with hard work when he retired 🙂

Dog “Assisting” with Yard Work

Our black lab mix, Annie, plays a game called “help or hindrance” when Gary does yard work. She follows the lawn mower with a ball in her mouth (we call this lawn mower ball), asking to play a fetch. Sometimes she’ll drop the ball in front of the mower. Another favorite game is garden hose. She loves to be sprayed with water. Being mostly lab, she is a water dog for sure.
