I was running errands and got caught in an Az monsoon downpour. Though it’s hard to see in this cell phone photo through my windshield,  there’s about 8 inches of water in this intersection. I got completely drenched getting to my car.
We do need the rain.

Memorial set up for the Granite Mountain Hotshots who died in the Yarnell Hill Fire. This is on 6th street outside their firehouse.

Betty belongs to my step son, she is staying with us for a while. She has quite the personality, is an expert beggar, and tolerates no nonsense from the other dogs even though she is smaller. Betty looks elderly, but she’s not. What looks like gray is really white hair. Out vet thinks she is about 6 years old.
